Another morning Ride

Decided to ride around the Church parking lot in Goodlettsville.  Another 2.3 miles.

I am loading a picture of the accessory mount I mentioned in last blog post.

Accessory Mount

The Kett has no place to mount accessories needed.  I bought a Terracycle Vertical Mount (http://t-cycle.com/accessory-mounting-c-71/accessory-mounts-c-71_73/cockpit-mountvertical-attachment-p-39.html) and attached it to my left handle bar.  This has given me room to mount a bell, horn, GPS and a mirror so far. Being left handed it is really nice to have all this close at hand.  It is a quality piece of equipment.

I am not riding today, a little sick.

Ride by the river

Got up early this morning around 5 o'clock and my daughter and I went riding at about seven. Went to Shelby Park and rode the Shelby Park Greenway. We cycled from Shelby Park to the Cumberland River bridge I was unable to climb the entrance to the bridge on the Shelby Park side so that will be an excursion for another time . We traveled 5.75 miles with an average speed of 3.6 mph.  I nice, leisurely ride with my Daughter.  She rides a Trek upright.

Old Edge 205

I hooked up my old Garman Edge 205 to the computer and Garmin found it, installed it and upgraded the software.  Garmin connect keeps track of a lot of the riding data from each day's ride.  So if you have an old Garmin around use it. You can even buy batteries if yours is dead and handlebar connectors if yours are broken.   I rode a mile and a quarter this morning on the streets close to home.  I like this Kett a lot! Really like the USS.

Riding Again!

Since coming  back from Europe I have been riding at least a half hour a day. Been having to do it early in the morning because of the heat. I have been installing a few items on my Trike. I will take a picture of them and post them the next few days. I am really excited about the mountain gears on this trike, they are very useful around the house because we have hills in all directions.
